If you are a Benton Township resident you many register to vote at the township office during normal business hours.

You must bring with you 2 forms of identification with a current picture ID which can be a drivers license, passport, or state ID.

Early Voting and Absentee Voting is conducted at the Township. Early Voting simply allows the voter to vote at their convenience. Absentee voting requires a reason for being out of town on election day.

Benton Township was the first township in the State of Illinois to have Early Voting.
