Voter Services

If you are a Benton Township resident you may register to vote at the township office during normal township office hours.

You must bring with you 2 forms of identification with your current address. 

Early Voting, and Absentee Voting are also conducted at the Township office. Early Voting simply allows the voter to vote at their convenience and does not require a reason.

Absentee voting does require a valid reason.

Benton Township was the first township in the State of Illinois to conduct Early Voting.

Important November 2008 Election Dates:

Last Day to Register:   October 7

Early Voting Begins:    October 13 to October 30th

Election Day:              November 4
